Save $10 when you spend $50 or more. Immediately I want to go to the store and see what they have of course. When I see that I can save $10, I think it’s saving me money, so I believe I can spend more than I would without the coupon. I believe having a coupon influences your spending because you’re more likely to go to that store because you think you’re getting a good deal. I think coupons are a way to pull in customers and the stores put sales when you go so you can buy more stuff and potentially spend more than the $50 because you know in the back of your mind that you’re saving that $10 and you think you’re getting an even better deal when you see that they have sales. So i truly believe coupons do influence what you purchase.
