We, GroupGo, LLC, created the I'm in! service and networks (collectively, "I'm in!" or the "Service") with the intention of making it easy to share information with your friends, family and extended networks. We give you control of your information because we understand that you may not want to give the world access to the information you share on I'm in. Our privacy settings allow you to limit the information displayed about you to your group members and other reasonable community standards that we tell you about.
We abide by two main beliefs when it comes to your privacy: (1) You should have control over your personal information. I'm in! helps you share information with your friends, family and extended networks. You choose what information that you want others on the site to see, including personal information, pictures and travel information. The privacy settings on the My Setting page allows you to control with whom you share that information with. (2) You should have access to the information others want to share. Sharing information between group members is an essential part of group travel. (Heck, we built a business around this.) We want to help you easily get that information in order to make the planning process more productive and less stressful.
Sharing information should be easy. We want to provide you with the privacy tools necessary to control how and with whom you share that information. If you have questions or ideas, please send them to privacy@imin.com.
We collect personal information when you register with I'm in!, when you use I'm in! products or services; when you visit I'm in! pages or the pages of certain I'm in! partners, and when you enter contests, promotions or sweepstakes. We may combine information about you that we have with information we obtain from business partners or other companies.
When you register with I'm in!, you have the ability to provide us with certain personal information, such as your name, your email address, your telephone number, your address, your travel information and any other personal or preference information that you opt to provide to us.
We automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP addresses I'm in! cookie information, and the page you request.
Information collected by I'm in! when you participate in a contest, promotion or sweepstakes may include your full name, e-mail address, and street address.
When you use I'm in!, you may specify group dynamics, set reminders, create votes, post messages, modify images, perform searches and queries, create agendas, and transmit information through various channels. We collect this information so that we can provide you the service and offer personalized features. In most cases, we retain it so that, for instance, you can return to view prior messages you posted or easily view photos you've uploaded. When you update information, we usually keep a backup copy of the prior version for a reasonable period of time to enable reversion to the prior version of that information.
When you make travel bookings with our travel partners or buy merchandise from our merchandise partners, the privacy policies of those travel or merchandise partners apply. We will attempt to make it clear to you when you are dealing with a travel or merchandise partner by opening a new browser or otherwise notifying you that you are leaving the Service. For example, if you see a phrase such as “powered by” or “brought to you by” followed by the name of a person or company other than the Service, then you are likely on, or about to enter, a Web site hosted or operated by a person or company other than us. These partners may request that you submit certain information to them in order to purchase their products or services or to obtain additional information from them. By submitting the requested information, you affirmatively consent to have that information shared with the partner. This information is used by the partner and may be subject to a different privacy policy. We are selective in choosing our partners, but it is important to note that we are not responsible for the privacy practices any of these partners may ultimately use. We encourage you to be aware when the Service links to these partners' Web sites and strongly encourage you to read the privacy policies or statements of our partner's web sites. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by the Service.
Please also note, I'm in! offers you the ability to authorize others to make and purchase travel arrangements on your behalf. In providing this authorization, the authorized person may provide third party vendors, sites, travel agents, and/or travel providers with some of your personal information such as email address, phone number, address, etc.
We may also collect information about you from other sources, such as affiliate merchant partners and other users of the Service through the operation of the Service (e.g., photo tags) in order to provide you with more useful information and a more personalized experience.
When someone other than yourself is accompanying you on the group trip (a "guest member") we may collect Personal Information and travel preferences about that individual that you provide. You should obtain the consent of other individuals prior to providing us with their full names, contact numbers, e-mail addresses, and travel preferences, as they will be unable to directly access our systems to view or change any information you provide on their behalf.

To help ensure your personal information is protected, we strongly recommend against posting your email address and other such Personal Information unless you are comfortable with the possibility of receiving unwanted contact.
Once you reply to a trip invitation, other users invited to the same group trip as you, and who have registered with I'm in!, will be able to view your shared travel information and to send you email messages. You may choose not to share your travel plans and email with other members of your group and may do so by changing the default settings under My Settings.
Planners are allowed to email and add members to a group. I'm in! will only use invitee email addresses to send trip-specific invitations, updates, notices, reminders and messages by members of the group trip.
