Yes, coupons do influence your purchasing decisions. When you have a coupon for a store you are more likely to spend money there then if you did not have a coupon for that store. It is a psychological thing, when you have a coupon for money or a percentage off, you are willing to spend more money because you know you will be getting a discount with your coupon. Especially when you have a coupon that says you have to spend a certain amount to get money off of your purchase, that just urges customers more to want to spend money at that store.
