Get back to nature at this environmentally-focused, interactive visitor information center in First Landing State Park. The Center showcases a historical exhibition of the first landing of settlers in 1607, resident wood carvers demonstrations of fine art, aquariums, environmental exhibits, classroom space, a wet lab and touch tank. It also has information, supplies, and equipment rentals so visitors can participate in programs such as sea kayaking in the Chesapeake Bay. Open 7 days a week.

Beachstreet USA is comprised of a diverse array of street performers along the sidewalks of Atlantic Avenue from 17th to 25th Streets from 8pm-11:30pm nightly (midnight on weekends!). Puppets, bands, jugglers, magicians, and others entertain on the sidewalks of Atlantic Avenue! Live concerts & theatrical productions take place seven nights a week from 6:00-11:00pm on stages at 7th, 13th, 17th, 24th, and 25th Streets along the oceanfront.

Base tours are conducted from June 4 through September 1 and are available via the Virginia Beach HRT Tours & Trolley system. ***No back packs are allowed on the tours and a photo ID is required for person 16 years of age and older.***

Departure Site: Tours depart 24th and Atlantic Ave., Kiosk , Virginia Beach, Virginia. Kiosk opens at 8:00. This is the only place you can start the tour.
