4 days in Ashford, WA ($$) — This 4-day itinerary based near magical Mount Rainier National Park, a short, scenic drive from Seattle, is for hearty hikers with a desire for adventure. Gather up your strongest, most energetic girlfriends and get your legs in shape for this mountain retreat. Use a comfortable, rustic cottage as your base camp as you take to the most scenic and challenging trails around Mt. Rainier. A one-day women's mountaineering seminar with experienced Rainier guides will help you take your climbing to the next level. Take a day to visit nearby Mt. Saint Helen's National Monument and put your climbing skills to the test with a climb to the lip of the volcano or choose from one of the area's dramatically scenic trails. Be sure to stock up on food1 the dinning options are limited and your cabin has a gourmet kitchen.
