at Georgia Aquarium

Head off to explore the Georgia Aquarium! Open in 2005, and with 5 major exhibit areas and a 4D theater, this aquarium boasts more than 8 million gallons of fresh and marine water and plenty of aquatic life to see! Plan on exploring the aquarium for 2 to 4 hours. Open Monday through Thursday 10am to 5pm. Open Friday through Sunday from 9am to 6pm. Aquarium is in walking distance of hotel. However, for those who prefer to drive, there is a parking deck accessible from both Luckie Street and Ivan Allen Jr. Blvd. Cost to park is $10. There are also numerous privately owned lots in the area.

The World of Coca Cola offers a little bit of everything. This "museum" features a 4-D theater and the largest collection of Coke memorabilia. There is also a functioning bottling line that produces commemorative 8-ounce bottles of Coca-Cola. Be sure to check out the tasting experience with over 70 different products to sample. The Pop Culture Gallery features works by artists such as Andy Warhol and Steve Penley. Open Monday through Saturday, 9am-5pm. Open Sunday 11am-5pm.
